Massage

Massage therapy refers to a comprehensive health management strategy focusing on the application of various techniques to positively affect the soft tissues and joints in the body. Massage techniques most commonly include pressure and compression, kneading, friction, and mobilizing to improve the health and condition of the muscles, tendons, skin, fascia or connective tissues.


Shane graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2000. Having been involved in sports all his life both as an athlete and therapist, Shane offers a unique set of skills to all who may need his services. With a focus on Rehabilitation to Prevention, Shane’s goal is to educate clients on why and what is happening in the body, making then feel better while also providing the tools to help themselves in the future. Shane works hard to make Rehabilitation to Prevention throughout the clinic at Twin Valley Wellness a focus. Best of all his hours are flexible to accommodate the lives of his busy clients.

Jessie graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage therapy in 2005 and has practiced Deep Tissue Massage Therapy at Twin Valley Wellness Clinic since the fall of 2005. She is highly dedicated to helping clients with Pain Management, Rehabilitation and Improving Performance, and believes that everyone should go home with a quality at home client care plan. Home care plans focus on Stretching, Exercise or some type of home care post treatment, educating clients on how to maintain and improve upon the results achieved during their treatment.

Alexandra is a graduate from the class of 2014 at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon BC. Over the period of her career Alexandra has worked with a wide range of clientele with various needs from Athletics, Pregnancy, Pain Management and Special Needs. Her goal in this profession is to aid in the recovery from injury, encourage a natural recovery of the human body and to educate the client as to why injuries have occurred.

In a treatment scenario Alexandra has developed a dynamic and flexible approach to every client that walks in and adjusts her approach as treatment progresses. Modalities that she utilizes in treatment vary from Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilization, Deep Tissue Work and Trigger Point Release. Treatments are always followed with homecare consisting of either stretching or strengthening to reflect the treatment constructively and get clients back to their day to day activities.

Allison graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in fall of 2023. With a dynamic background ranging from multi-sport to weightlifting and riding in the saddle, Allison is dedicated to providing clients with therapeutic treatments that alleviate physical distress.

She enjoys using a variety of techniques during treatments which are tailored to each individual. You can expect a thorough assessment and a variety of techniques personalized to you; myofascial release, deep tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, scar tissue, movement based therapy, and joint mobilizations to name a few.
